Senior Teacher Elective Module: Teachers Have Class!
Elective: Teachers Have Class!
The on-line workshops and forums that comprise this elective are presented in two ways:
- Essentials Plus program giving additional, local (WA) online curriculum support in applying what has been learnt in the classroom, OR
- Essentials program which lets participants work on their own.
Participants will develop their skills and understandings in:
- using MS Office and the Internet
- integrating ICT into teaching and learning.
Teachers who enrol are expected to complete all five instructor-led courses @ 3 - 4 hours each.
*Online facilitators are available and accessed through PD-point.
*Teachers selecting the Essentials Plus program will have access to local online support from the Department's Curriculum ICT program staff.
*Further information will be provided upon enrolment.
Participants must have leased a notebook through the Department's Notebooks for Teachers program to participate in this elective.
