Graduate Teacher Professional Learning Program
This program builds confidence and expertise, develops understanding of how students learn and builds a repertoire of strategies to cater for their diverse learning needs.
It is aligned with Phase 1 of the dimensions of the Competency Framework for Teachers and supports their movement from provisional to full registration with WACOT.
The Professional Learning Program:
is built around four modules which provide practical support for participants to develop their confidence and expertise in classroom practice, and to deal more successfully with issues that arise.
Modules:
Module 1: Becoming Part of a Professional Community
Module 2: Facilitating Student Learning
Module 3: Assessing and Reporting Student Learning Outcomes
Module 4: Participating in Curriculum Policy and Other Program Initiatives in an Outcomes-Focused Environment

The professional learning program for Graduate Teachers aims to enhance the capacity and skill level of teachers who are in the early stages of their careers.
